Crystal Jean Schmitz-Norris

Crystal Jean Schmitz-Norris passed away on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 at the age of 53 in the City of Oshkosh where she lived with her husband Jeff Norris. Crystal was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Merle and DeeDee (Foss) Schmitz on January 24th, 1963. She graduated from LP Goodrich High School with the class of 1981. She married Henry in 1981 and had two children before the union ended.

She married Nick in 1990 and added one more daughter. This Union also ended. Then she met Jeff Norris the love of her life and best friend and they married on September 6th of 2013.



She is survived in life by her loving husband Jeff Norris; her children who meant the world to her, Xanadu and William Scheuers, and Tiffany Ripple-Mathewson; her stepchildren, Andy Norris and Amber Alsteen; her sister Nicole, and brothers Tom, Matt, Jason and Gary; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family members, Becky Ascher, Pam Bulmer, and Carole Seidl-Wondra. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, father and mother.



The visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 11:00 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Cremation will follow the service. Refreshments will be at the legion afterwards for those who would like to come and share memories.
