Dale D. "Pee Wee" Albrecht

Dale D "Pee Wee" Albrecht, 71, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, April 15 at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born July 19, 1942 in Fond du Lac, WI, the son of Verona and Edward Albrecht. Dale graduated from Rosendale High School in 1960 and worked at the Northern Aluminum Foundry in North Fond du Lac for 42 years. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, fishing, gardening, watching Brewers baseball, and playing with his grandchildren. Dale is survived by his daughter Michelle (Jeff) Lamb of North Fond du Lac and their children, Tyler, Adam, and Kyle (Great Granddaugher Lilly); Tim (Norma) Albrecht and their children Andrea (currently going through Basic Training in the Air Force) and Erica; and Nicole (Mark) Weber and their children Riley and Max. He is also survived by Edward Albrecht, Rienhardt (Kaye) Albrecht, Robert (JoAnn) Albrecht, Lois (Vern) Thelke, Carol Albrecht, and sister-in-law Ruth Albrecht. Dale was preceded in death by the love of his life, Patricia Mae Albrecht, who passed in December. Also preceding him in death were his parents Edward and Verona Albrecht, as well as his brothers and sisters Arnold Albrecht, Wilber (Betty) Albrecht, LaVerna, Luella (Clarence) Schumacher, David Albrecht, Holdina (Karl) Koudahl, infant brother Carl, and sister-in-law Geraldine Roberts. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was known for his humor and big heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.



The visitation will be held on Saturday April 19, 2014 from 12:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at Uecker Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hatahet for taking such good care of both Dale and Pat, and to the caring staff at the Hospice Home of Hope for comforting Dale and the family during his final days.
