Dale R. Hass

Dale R. Hass, 61 of the Town of Empire, Fond du Lac, died May 3, 2012 at Chandron Community Hospital, Chandron, Nebraska. Dale was born in Fond du Lac on September 11, 1950, the son of George and Margaret "Ruth" Schommer Hass. On August 8, 1987 he married Patricia "Patti" H. Wilhelm at St. Mary's Church, Eden. Dale was a graduate of Goodrich High School and of the auto mechanics program at Moraine Park Technical Institute. Dale was a semi truck driver for over 40 years driving for Dale Grahl Trucking, Timblin Transit Incorporated of Eden and for the past 23 years for R & J Transport, Manitowoc. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish, Eden. Dale was a life member of the NRA, Forest Gun Club and a member of SCI. Dale enjoyed gardening and growing fruit trees, but his greatest passion was hunting. He loved and was devoted to his family. SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife, Patti Hass, Fond du Lac, two daughters Rebecca "Becky" Hass and Meggan Hass, Fond du Lac, three brothers Richard (Kathryn) Hass, Leo (Kathy) Hass, Paul and George Hass all of Fond du Lac, two aunts Catherine Briggs and Germaine Schommer of Eden. Dale is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-laws, Chuck (Barb) Wilhelm, Fond du Lac, Kathy (Bernard) Brady, Fond du Lac, Alyce (Fred) Schraufnagel, Lomira, Peter (Mary) Wilhelm, Midlothian, VA, and Loretta Wilhelm, Appleton, Lawrence "Larry" (Lori) Wilhelm, Lomira. Dale was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Margaret "Margie" Hass, a brother Daniel Hass, father and mother-in-law Charles "Gene" and Cecilia "Cis" Wihelm,



VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at the church on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of services. FUNERAL:A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac. Reverend Edward Sippel will officiate.
