Dan R. Stafford

Dan R. Stafford, age 71, of Oakfield, died on Friday, December 15, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1952, in Oakfield, WI, the son of Floyd and Anita (Kranz) Stafford. On October 15, 2004, he married Joye Velie in the gazebo at the Fond du Lac Yacht Club. Dan worked as a metal fabricator for Vulcan and Valley Welding. He was very proud of his work and on a past job helped build old scoreboards at Lambeau Field.

Dan was a member of the Top Hats MC (T.H.F.F.T.H). He loved working in his yard and enjoying nature, especially birds and walking in Hobbs Woods. Dan was a huge wrestling fan and watched it most nights of the week including WWE and AEW. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing poker, snowmobiling, and riding his motorcyle. Dan was full of life and had a great passion for life. Most of all he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Joye; his children, Tina (Kennith) Johnson, Dave (Misty) Stafford, Tiffany Stafford; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Seth, Anita, Tanner, Drake, Kaydin, and Leon; one brother, Jim Stafford; his special dogs, Roxy and Ruby; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Angela Stafford; his siblings, Marilyn Pea, Lavelda Royer, and Alice Sjoqist; special in-laws, and numerous friends; his special dog, Cosmo.

Visitation with lunch available will take place on Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Fond du Lac Eagles Club, 515 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A time of remembrance and sharing will take place at 2:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
