Dana M. Ruetz

Dana Ruetz of Fond du Lac, formerly of Waukesha, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer at the age of 45.Dana graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1980, from Patricia Stevens Career College in 1981, and received an Associates Degree in Property Management from WCTC in 2004. Dana was currently employed at U.S. Bank in Oshkosh, WI. She was previously employed as Business Manager for Venture Development, and President of K.V. Builders. Dana also spent time with Pan Am Airlines as a flight attendant. Dana loved gardening, baking and spending time with her family and friends. Dana had a magnetic personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a kind and caring spirit. She loved being the life of the party and enjoyed quiet times fishing off the pier with her husband at their home on Lake Winnebago.Dana will be sadly missed by her husband, Mike, and stepdaughter, Jessica Ruetz; mother, Judy (Ken) Vondross; sister, Barbara (Ron) Fladwood; brothers, Jim and Jeff (Laurel) Studer; nephews, Austin and Jake Krueger, Max Vondross and Oren Studer; nieces, Ellen Marie Studer, Eve and Nina Galvani, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Dana was preceded in death by her father, Edward Studer, and stepfather, Roland Books.



The Funeral Mass for Dana will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. Rev. Jason Lavann and Rev. Thomas Krosnicki will officiate. The visitation for Dana will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. mass at church. The visitation on Thursday, June 12 will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Burial will immediately follow the mass on Friday in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. There will also be a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. vigil service on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. Fond du Lac, WI.
