Daniel C. Jones

Daniel C. Jones, age 60, of North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Hospice Home of Hope following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 26, 1953 in Fond du Lac, the son of Carl and Janet (Kruger) Jones. Dan served in the United States Air Force stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas. Upon returning he worked for Roger Braun Septic for six years. He then worked for the Village of North Fond du Lac as Assistant Director of Public Works from 1981 to 1997. Dan then worked for Signature Homes by Adashun Jones. He also built and developed homes on his own. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, playing pool, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Dan loved music and his guitar, and he received numerous awards in high school. He lived an active life for many years prior to his illness. He was a member at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church.SURVIVORS: three children, Josh Jones of CT, Jessica Jones of CT, Taylor Jones of North Fond du Lac; two step-children, Jennifer Mohr of CT, and Tom Mohr of CT; his mother, Janet Jones Thompson of North Fond du Lac; his siblings, Gail (Jim) Patt of North Fond du Lac, Kathy Jones of Neenah, Jeff Jones of Fond du Lac, Brian (Dawn) Jones of Appleton, Jason (Lisa) Jones of Neenah; special cousin, Sharon Brown; and good friend, Bill Finn; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Jones.



VISITATION: Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935 and again on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with funeral to follow at 10:00 AM. with Rev. Michael Weigand officiating.
