Daniel R. "Dan" Romalia, 88, of 517 Luco Road, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born August 14, 1918, in Marblehead, the son of Joseph and Theresa Sasso Romalia. On May 16, 1942, he married Edna Gollnick at St. Mary's Church. She preceded him in death on September 4, 2005. Mr. Romalia was a member of Holy Family Parish. He was formerly employed by Tobin Tool & Die for over 42 years, retiring in 1983. He enjoyed golfing and bowling, and was a past Secretary of the Karl-Ray Industrial League.Surviving is a daughter, Mary (Roland) De Motts of Fond du Lac, two grandsons, Jeffrey (Jill) Cook of Slinger, WI, and SFC Scott (Dawnde) Cook of Fort Knox, KY, four great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Jean Romalia of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His parents, wife, three brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. Daniel R. "Dan" Romalia will on Friday, December 15, 2006, from 4 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word services will be on Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 1 pm at the funeral home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
