Darlene J. (Veleke) Luttenberger

Darlene J. (Veleke) Luttenberger, age 84, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun. She was born on September 22, 1938, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Marvin and Cora (Wildeman) Veleke. Darlene married Delmar Luttenberger in 1987. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2012. Darlene worked at Stoffels Drugstore in Waupun and for many years at Bestt Rollr. She was a loyal member of Church of Peace and lived her life with God. Darlene and Del were members of the Eagles Club in Fond du Lac and Darlene volunteered for many years at Hospice Home of Hope. She gave money to several charities, including the Wounded Warriors, Veterans groups, and Police and Fire groups. Darlene loved flowers and gardening and could identify all of our native birds. Most of all she was a devoted wife and mother, and she was caring, loving, forthright, and sassy.

Survivors include beloved sons, Dave (fiancé Shelley Procise Hoernke) Miller and Rick Miller; granddaughters, Amanda Miller, Angela Miller, Alesia (Jake) Redeker, Vanessa (Cody) Eiler; great-grandchildren, Krew, Korbyn, and Watson; stepdaughter, Eleanor (Randy) Jones; beloved great-nieces, Gail (Mike) Wargula and Kari (Craig) Ruis; great-nephew, Chad Veleke; step-nephews, Mark and Glenn Luttenberger; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harley (Marilyn) Veleke; stepdaughter, Elaine Czoschke; step-nephew, Scott Luttenberger.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 5:30 PM. Entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
