Darrell E. Asmus

Darrell E. Asmus, age 77, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born on February 26, 1935 in Horicon, the son of Earl and Violet Helbing Asmus. Darrell served in the United States Army. On October 8, 1955 he married Caroline Greiner in Scranton, PA. He later married Mary Ann Cross on September 7, 1985. Darrell owned and operated a computer and cash register sales business for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. SURVIVORS: six children, Cheryl (Mark) Brickman of Mequon, WI, Lori (Tony) Ward of Tomahawk, WI, David (NolaRae) Asmus of Allenton, WI, Dan Asmus of Wausau, WI, Tom (Michella) Asmus of Bukidnon, Philippines; Susan (Rich) Anderson of Wimauma, FL, six step-children, Cindy (Gary) Lieffring, Brian Cross, David Cross, Christine (Cal) Popp, Lisa (Tim) Holz, and Todd Cross, numerous grandchildren, one brother, Jim (Lois) Asmus of Cable, WI, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Caroline.
