David A. "Cowboy" Henning

July 16, 1957 — January 26, 2011

David A. "Cowboy" Henning, 53 of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital. David was born in Fond du Lac on July 16, 1957 the son of Aaron and Delores Gramlow Henning. On April 6,1979 he married Anne Zimmel, later he married Terri Haynes on July 16, 1998. She preceded him in death on July 4, 2005. Dave grew up on a farm with his family, which he later ran. He then drove truck for Larsen, T.T. I., Buechel and Oakfield Stone. He was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. He enjoyed darts, pool, the Green Bay Packers, golfing, gardening, grilling out and loved his family. SURVIVORS: include five children; Jeremiah (Special Friend Kristine) Henning, Fond du Lac, Jamey (Sarah) Henning, Waupun, Shannon (Special Friend Eric) Fond du Lac, Jesse (Special Friend Missy) Henning, Fond du Lac, Jared (Special Friend Amanda) Henning, Fond du Lac, six grandchildren; Alan, Seth, Caleb, Veronika, Alexia, and Abigale. David is further survived by his former wife Anne (Special Friend Robert) Henning, two sisters Sylvia (Larry) Giese, Mayville, Karen (Lloyd) Giese, Mayville, a brother-in-law Kenneth Ehlers, Mayville,many nieces and nephews, and Dave's Special friend Kathy of Fond du Lac. His parents, one sister Lu Ann Ehlers and his wife Terri preceded him in death



Visitation will be held at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 4-8 PM and on Saturday at the church from 12:00 Noon to the time of services. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Faith Ev.Lutheran Church with Reverend Joel Gaertner officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Theresa.
