David A. Hyde, 55, of Fond du Lac died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Froedtert Medical Center after suffering a heart attack on Sunday, July 10, 2005. David was born September 30, 1949 in Danville, PA the son of Alan and Dorothy Blakney Hyde. On March 31, 1984 he married the love of his life Jane Rigard in Selinsgrove, PA. The couple resided in Selinsgrove until their move to Wisconsin in 2000. A graduate of Bloomsburg University, David was the owner of Hyde Manor Homes, a design-build firm for many years, worked as a Sales Manager for Reynolds Metals of Richmond, VA and came to Wisconsin as a District Sales Manager for Wickes Lumber. Most recently he proudly served as the Wisconsin Area Manager for Stock Building Supply.David was a magnificent husband, father, son, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife Jane of Fond du lac and their children Emily Hyde (fiancé Jonathan Hoffman) of State College, PA; Joshua Hyde of Fond du Lac, Shelly (Scott) Walters and their children Karena and Matthew, Stacy (Matt) Drum, and Kimberly Hyde all of Selinsgrove, PA. David is also survived by his mother, Dorothy and his sister Pamela Gordner of Northumberland PA along with nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, Jennifer (Jason) Troutman, Jason Kratzer and Nikki Wynings, Northumberland, Eric and Alyssa Seelye, St Mary's, Anthony Rigard, St.Marys and Lisa Rigard, State College. His favorite in-laws, sister in law Mary Kay (Alan) Seelye and brother in law Bruce (Connie) Rigard and always Papa Rigard (Leo "Pickles") of St. Mary's, Pa.Many special friends survive David including those who have wrapped their arms around him and Jane in many challenging times; including Sharon and Larney Auker, Donna Jenkins; Loretta and Walter VanNuys, Jack and Cathy Grove, all of Selinsgrove, PA and special Wisconsin "family", Kevin and Norma Kellenberger and children, Betty and Ivan Reetz, Bob and Ann Fale, Rita Meidam, and the entire Executive Team of Agnesian HealthCare. David was preceded in death by his father Alan S. Hyde in 1997 and his mother-in-law Rita Rigard in 2002.
Services: A memorial service celebrating David will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, July 16 at St Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett Street in Fond du Lac on the campus of Agnesian HealthCare.Visitation: The family will receive friends in the chapel beginning at 9a.m until the time of service.Gifts may be made in memory of David to St Agnes Hospital Foundation for the Angel of Hope Healing Gardens or the Palliative Care Services, both of which support families losing someone they so deeply love.Uecker "“Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
