David B. Foster

David B. Foster, 73, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 29, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 20, 1949 in Cleveland, OH, the son of Willard and Marjorie (Bestor) Foster. David graduated from Lakewood High School in 1967 and earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. He worked for Saputo Cheese as Director of Cost Accounting until his retirement in 2012. On September 19, 2009 he married Catherine M. Jansen in Fond du Lac.

David was involved with Boy Scouts in his youth and as an adult and was a member of FDL Noon Optimist and Past President of Rienzi Cemetery. He enjoyed traveling to Arizona in the winter and up north in summers where he loved driving the pontoon boat. He also enjoyed entertaining, cooking, playing games, photography, was a practical joker, and loved to golf.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine; three children, Jonathan (Becky) Foster, Kimberly Foster, and Alan (Jennifer) Foster; two stepchildren, Becki (Daniel) Argyres and Jason (Shannon) Anderson; nine grandchildren, Kirsten Foster, Colin Foster, Alaina Foster, Brooks and Beau Foster, Elias Argyres, Keziah, Jaiden and Noah Anderson; one sister, Judy Dunn; his former wife, Barb Foster; and Pegs and Jokers Game Group; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brian Foster; and two sisters, Marilyn Brausch and Karen Hoffman.

The visitation will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Boy Scouts of America or Fond du Lac Food Pantry in David’s name.
