David C. Mohr

David C. Mohr, 75, a resident of 77 Wisconsin American Drive for the past two years, died Tuesday, February 03, 2009, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born October 9, 1933, in Fond du Lac, the son of Carl and Hazel Gross Mohr. On July 1, 1970, he married Lorraine J. Steuerwald in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on March 1, 2006. Mr. Mohr was a member of Holy Family Parish. He was formerly employed by the US Postal Service as a letter carrier for 31 years, retiring in 1988. Dave was a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1954 to 1956. He is survived by nieces and nephews, including niece Mary Beth Burnett of Fond du Lac. His parents, wife, an infant brother, Donald, three sisters, Helen Swantz, Jeanette Burnett, and Marion Stern, and a nephew, Richard Burnett, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. David C. Mohr will be on Friday, February 6, 2009, from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 am at the church on Friday. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
