David C. White

David C. White, 86, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born December 21, 1926 in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Hilda Pagelow White. On September 18, 1948 he married Alice T. Klatt at St. Mary's Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on July 20, 2012. David was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving in World War II. He worked for Gidding and Lewis for 39 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. David enjoyed being an artist, fishing, boating, going up north, watching the wildlife, and loved spending time with family.He is survived by three children, Theresa Clapper (Greg Stollfus), Mike White, Linda (Mark) Parker; six grandchildren, Jon (Brandi) Clapper, Melissa (Jason) Perkins, Anna White, Adam White, Josh Parker, Brittany Parker; five great grandchildren, Mandy, Zoe, Alicyn, Jevon, Gracianne. He is further survived by one sister, Jeanne (Charles) Smith; one sister-in-law, Margy Mase; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Leo and Helen Bialk Klatt; his wife, Alice; a great granddaughter, Jozie Clapper; one sister, Rosemary (Tom) Zonik; two brothers-in-law, Jack Mase and Joseph Klatt; one sister-in-law, Marion (Wilb) Mielke.



The visitation will take place from 4:00 "“ 7:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will take place at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place with entombment in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park at a later date.In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the American Lung Association in David's name.The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Agnesian Hospice and Cindy Natchway for the care and compassion given to David and his family.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
