David E. Clark, 86, of Oakfield, died Friday, March 3, 2023 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. He was born January 3, 1937 in Eden, the son of John and Susan (VanderGrinden) Clark. On June 27, 1959 he married Betty Ann Redman at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oakfield. David worked for Carnation Canning Company and later Siligan in Waupun until his retirement.
He enjoyed shooting darts, throwing horseshoes, bowling, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and most of all loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting and scouting events.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three daughters, Debbie Cousins, Linda (Willard) Nolan, and Denise (Darrick) Sing; seven grandchildren, Amiee Drake, Kyle (Melissa) Clark, Jamie (Anthony Ferraria) Nolan, Taylor Nolan, Kelly (Quinn) Hemler, Dustin Sing, and Daniel Sing; three great grandchildren, Alyssa Drake, Owen Drake, and Jocelyn Clark; his beloved mother-in-law, Elsie Redman; three siblings, Pat DelPonte, Helen Theis, and Johnny (Joanne) Clark; sister-in-law, Grace Clark; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Rudolph Redman; brother, Leo Clark; grandson-in-law, Jeffrey Drake; and brothers-in-law, Gordon DelPonte, Ervin Theis, and Robert (Judy) Redman.
The visitation will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oakfield. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday at church. Burial will follow in Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield.
