David J. Steinbarth

David J. Steinbarth, 75, of Oakfield, died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born August 9, 1937 in Fond du Lac, the son of Herman and Alice Sperbeck Steinbarth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. David married Pat Accord and later married Linda Betts Respalje, who he remained close friends with along with her family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raccoon hunting, his dogs, and loved spending time with his family.SURVIVORS: three children, Alicia (Holly School) Steinbarth, Oshkosh, Kurt Steinbarth, Oakfield, Kathy Smith, Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren, Tara (Jason) Bass, Kaylyn Steinbarth, Alex Smith, Nathan Smith, Shane (fiancé, Heidi) Steinbarth, Josie Smith, Michael Steinbarth, Tony (Kim) Bovee, Brennen Smith; five great grandchildren, Blake, Grant, Westin, Layla, Bowen. He is further survived by four brothers, Jack (Pat) Steinbarth, Texas, Ed (Carol) Steinbarth, Fond du Lac, Bob (Sue) Steinbarth, Fond du Lac, Gary Steinbarth, Indiana; two sisters, Jean (Jim) LaPine, Fond du Lac, Mary Jo Gahan, Port Washington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Eric.
