David John Jones

David John Arthur Jones, age 77, 0f Fond du Lac, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on January 2, 1938 in Fond du Lac, the son of Arthur and Bergetta (Dittman) Jones. On August 10, 1972 he married Anita Stenz in Fond du Lac. David worked at Galloway West. He enjoyed hunting, collecting coins, shooting pool, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Most of all he loved going to all his grandchildren’s sporting events. David was a good man who was always willing to help anyone.



SURVIVORS: his wife, Anita of Fond du Lac; three children, Cindy (Steve) Kirchhoff, Rick (Pam) Jones, and Tammy (Brian) Paulin all of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Amy and Sara Kirchhoff, Rylee and Peyton Jones, Jodie Hills, Savannah Luchinski, and Cheyenne Steffen; two great-granddaughters, Isabella and Lilianna; one brother, James (Jean) Jones of Fond du Lac; step-children, Al (Kathy) Randall, Lynn (Mary) Randall, Brian (Julie) Randall, Jeanne (David) Konen; step-grandchildren, Christopher Randall, Patrick Randall, Benjamin Randall, Danielle (Michael) Thimmig, Kelly (Michael) Hofheins; step great-grandchildren, Colin, Mackenzie, Rylee, Nathan, Meagan; brothers in law and sisters in law, Bill and Mary Murray, Virginia Bertam, Melvin and Norma Stenz, Pat Stenz, Alice Stenz, and Grace Stenz; nephews, Dale, Chris, Brian, Joe; one niece, Lisa.



Preceding David in death were his parents; one sister and her husband Barbara (Jeff) Wallender; brothers in law, Norman Stenz, Sylvestor Stenz, George Fryda, Leander Stenz, Ervin Stenz, Elmer Bertam, Elmer Steffes; sisters in law, Rosabelle Fryda, Joanne Stenz, Elfrida Steffes.



VISITATION: Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family, 200 S. Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
