David L. Willett, 65, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born March 21, 1946 in Fond du Lac, the son of Leo and Rose Steffes Willett. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army. On January 4, 1969 he married Ursula M. Sell at Sacred Heart Church, Fond du Lac. David currently was the owner of the Rent-it-Shop in Fond du Lac. He was a member of the Fond du Lac Home Builders Association and the American Rental Association. David enjoyed motorcycles, playing his guitar, bowling, woodworking and spending time at his cottage.SURVIVORS: his wife, Ursula; one son, Nickolas (Shannon) Willett, Fond du Lac; one daughter, Peggy (Jay) Field, Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Brittany, Maddie and Griffin. He is further survived by two brothers, Ronald (Patricia) Willett, Pickney, MI and Carl (Mary) Willett, Lake Tomahawk, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Willett; one sister, Audrey Burkhardt.
VISITATION: will be from 9 "“ 11 AM on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Liturgy of the Word service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating.
