David P. Eggers

David P. Eggers, age 66 of 418 4th Street, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on November 27, 1941 in Fond du Lac the son of Adolph and Magdelina Weddig Eggers.On August 23, 1974 he married Judith K. Smith at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Madison. He graduated from Goodrich High School. He worked in route sales for Sarah Lee's and was currently employed part-timewith Botanical's doing ,"delivery magic for Patrick". David was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling and at one time was "City Bowling Champion". He loved the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, and enjoyed following WLA sporting events. David loved his family being at home, fishing with his son, reading, playing scrabble and doing crossword puzzles.SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife, Judy Eggers, Fond du Lac, son, Paul (Ashley) Eggers, Franklin, daughter, Erin Eggers, Milwaukee, fur sisters and brothers, Karen Thornburg, Fond du Lac, Sue Eggers, North Fond du Lac, Jan (Wayne) Schingen, North Fond du Lac, Robert (Janel) Eggers, Oconto, sister-in-law, Rena (Milt) Mendelsohn, Woodland Hills, CA., brother-in-law, Jim (Mary) Smith, Barneveld, his aunt, Hazel Lavrenz, Fond du Lac and his cousin, Candy (Al) Meindel, Fond du Lac, three God children, Adam, Andy, and Christy. He enjoyed his cat Estrella. His parents, and one nephew preceded David in death.



VISITATION: Friday, December 28, 2007 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 55 North Prairie Road. FUNERAL: Friday, December 28, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 55 North Prairie Road with Reverend's James Skorzewski and Brett Naumann officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to Wisconsin Lutheran College, Athletic Department to start a bowling team.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
