David T. King, age 72, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital. He was born on July 9, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the son of Francis and Janet (Twist) King. David served in the United States Army Reserves. On April 30, 2005, he married Wendy Klintworth in Fond du Lac. David worked at Mercury until retiring. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, sturgeon spearing, playing softball, and was a member of the Eagles. David would try anything once.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy, of North Fond du Lac; one brother, Tom King of Black River Falls; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dale Klintworth of Merritt Island, FL, Bruce (Debbie) Klintworth of Kansas City, MO, Joy (Roy) Murdock of Anacortes, WA, Guy (Sue) Klintworth of Taycheedah. Uncle Kinger is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister-in-law, Jill (Klintworth) Schmitz.
A Celebration of Kinger’s Life will take place on Monday, May 17, 2021, from 2:00-6:00 PM at the Eagles Club, 515 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Cremation has taken place.
