Dawn M. Atkins-Liebelt

Dawn M. Atkins-Liebelt, 38, of Fond du Lac, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She was born in Fond du Lac on August 20, 1975, the daughter of Randall and Judith (Mortenson) Atkins. She was a 1994 graduate of Goodrich High School and later received her associate’s degree in medical transcription. On September 5, 1999, Dawn was united in marriage to Ryan Liebelt at Lighthouse Christian Church; their church home.

Dawn was truly a special person. She was very passionate and not afraid to let others know. Dawn lived life to the fullest and enjoyed playing and laughing with her family and friends. She wanted every moment to be spent with her children and their friends, to many of whom she became a second mom. She enjoyed showing affection to others; whether giving back rubs, doing others hair and makeup or caring for them when they were sick or hurting. Dawn gave of herself to everyone who was part of her life and she will forever be missed. May her memory live on in the lives of her loved ones.

Survivors include her husband, Ryan, three children; Corey, Theresa and Brooke, her parents, Randall and Judith, six siblings; Roy (Bea) Atkins, Alan (friend Peggy Lueck) Atkins, Barb (friend Tim) Atkins, Bob Atkins, Jeff “Joey” (Amy) Atkins and Chris (friend Joe) Atkins.

Funeral Information

A visitation for Dawn will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 5:30 P.M – 7:00 P.M. at Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 S. National Ave. in Fond du Lac. A celebration of Dawn’s life will take place at 7:00 P.M with her grandfather, Rev. Richard Balken, officiating.

Cremation has already taken place.
