Debby J. Kleman

Debby J. Kleman, 72, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital with family by her side. She was born in Frederic, Wis. on July 1, 1951, to Rolland and Marian Lundquist. On May 4, 1974, Debby married Vernon “Vern” Kleman who she met while in college. She graduated from UW - River Falls in 1975 with a degree in children’s education and in 1976 taught first grade in Racine.

Debby was a devoted wife, mother, and a proud and joyful grandmother. She had a heart full of love for her family. Even though in recent years Debby endured many serious health issues, she never gave up. She added life to the lives of others. Until retirement, Debby spent most of her career in administration at the Fond du Lac County Public Library.

Survivors include her husband, Vern; two children, Jacob (Kim) Kleman and Rachel (Chip) Burns; two grandsons, Jonas, and Carter Burns; two nephews, Paul (Mary Beth) Johnson and Adam (Mallary) Johnson and their two sons, Gunner, and Cody. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Johnson.  

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
