Deborah A. Barton

Deborah Ann Barton, age 45 of Fond du Lac died Friday, October 9,2009 at her residence. She was born on December 25, 1963 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of Dale and Patricia O'Connor Rees. On March 19, 1989 Deborah married Gregory Barton in Fond du Lac. She worked for many years as a compassionate CNA caregiver. Deborah loved animals, and with passion championed their causes. Deborah enjoyed camping, collecting antiques, and gardening with her husband. She will be missed by her beloved pets, German Shepard's, Simba and Bailey, Cockatiel Bandit, and her four cats, three of which were rescues.SURVIVORS: her husband, Gregory Barton, Mother, Patricia Balthazor, son, Zach Schoenberg, daughter, Sarah (John) Niemeier, and four beautiful granddaughters, all of Fond du Lac, four sisters, Susan Rees, Sherri Khania of Fond du Lac, Tracy (Bill) Ostrander, Campbellsport and Laura Husnick, Lomira. Deborah is further survived by nieces and nephews, Brian (Nellie) Yoshimura, Matthew and Joshua Khania, William Ostrander, Jessica and Rachel Huth, Amanda Rees, Haley, Hannah, and Heidi Husnick, and Hope Kelm.. Also two sister-in-laws, Linda (Bob) Scheuers, Plymouth, Deeann (Bruce) Burroughs, Rosendale, brother-in-law DuWayne Barton, Brandon, mother-in-law Janet Barton, Brownsville. Preceded in death by her father, Dale Rees, a brother Roy Rees, a sister LuAnne Culshaw and a nephew Joey Rees.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Monday, October 12, 2009 from 4 to 6 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 6:00 PM with Reverend William Gruenstern officiating. Cremation has taken place.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
