Deborah A. Heffner

Deborah A. Heffner, 70, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born June 16, 1950 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Gordan and Elaine (Mielke) Goodman. On August 5, 2004, she married Rudy Heffner in Hurley, WI and he preceded her in death on December 15, 2007. Deborah was manager of George Webb in Fond du Lac until 1994. She moved to Ironwood, MI in 2000 and returned to Fond du Lac in 2019. Deborah loved to spend time with her family.



She is survived by three stepchildren, Patricia (Robert) Freund, Randy (Denise) Heffner, and Ann (Bruce) Bartelt and their families, all of Fond du Lac; five siblings, Joyce Kain of Fond du Lac, Wendy (Tom) Skotarzak of North Fond du Lac, Keith (Lena) Goodman of Green Bay, Kevin (Betty) Goodman of Fond du Lac, and Glenn Goodman of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Catherine Goodman of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rudy; and three brothers, Royal (Candy) Goodman, Gordon Goodman Jr. and David Goodman.



The visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 North Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI. The memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Due to Emergency Order #1 under Executive Order #82, masks are required while in attendance. Burial will take place at a later date at Edgewood Cemetery, Gurney, WI.
