Deborah A. “Debbie” Oberg, 73, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at her daughter’s home where she was on hospice. She was born in Fond du Lac on August 8, 1951, to Erwin “Bud” and Gloria (Foxhoven) Gurno. On October 18, 2000, she married Mark Oberg, Sr. in Fond du Lac.
For years, Debbie shot darts and pool for D&D Tavern. She was a graduate of MPTC’s School of Cosmetology. Debbie worked for Badger State Auto Auction, Consultants Laboratory and retired from Wal-Mart.
Debbie is survived by a son, Christopher (wife, GiGi) Gurno of Racine, her daughter, Jennifer (Adams) Irby, stepson, Mark Oberg, Jr., and stepdaughter, Samantha (Oberg) Immel, all of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Demo, Skye, Nicholas, Jada (husband, Saveun) Lewis, Jordan, and Jasmin; and six step-grandchildren, Spencer, Kaitlynn, Lillyanna, Maci, Owen, and Josephine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy (Adams) Reeves, as well as two aunts, Gerrie Marquardt, and Georgia (husband, Ralph) Welsch.
Cremation has taken place with a celebration of Debbie’s life to be held at a later date.
