Debra M. Ohrmund

Debra M. Ohrmund, 52, of Lomira. “I’m not afraid of dying and I’m ready to go home.” God answered Deb’s prayers and took her home to be with her father on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.



Debra was born on January 2, 1970, the daughter of Daryl and Shirley (Bartel) Kuenzi. She was a 1988 graduate of Campbellsport High School and received her LPN degree from MPTC in 1991. Deb enjoyed working with Dr. James Schuster and staff at Agnesian Healthcare for 20 years. She continued her successful nursing career at DCP with Dr. Burt Steffes and her girls, the “Derm Gals.” Deb was a caring and kind person who always was showing gratitude toward others.



Traveling was one of Deb’s passions in life. From ziplining in Costa Rica, to wine tasting in California, dipping her toes in the sand in Jamaica, or honky tonkin at Dollywood in Tennessee. Deb liked to travel and experience life to the fullest. There were so many special family memories made during her adventures. She truly enjoyed the simple things in life. Riding her bike, taking a walk, working out with her gym buddies, or visiting Wisconsin wineries with her “sista.” In her free time, she also like to read books and was an awesome baker.



Deb will forever be cherished and missed by her mom, Shirley; sister, Diane Kuenzi; goddaughter, Nora; former husband, Tom Ohrmund; and aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, coworkers, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father; and maternal and paternal grandparents.



The visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Tabor Methodist Church, Eden, WI, from 2 PM – 4 PM. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 4 PM at church. Inurnment will occur at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.



The family would like to extend a special thank to the staff at the Cancer Center of Fond du Lac, Froedtert Hospital, and Hospice Home of Hope.



In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Deb’s name to Hospice Home of Hope and Tabor Methodist Church.
