Delores C. LawDelores C. Law, 71, of N5577 Timber Ridge Drive, Town of Empire, died Tuesday, September 21, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born January 8, 1933, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Elmer and Evelyn Franzen Retzleff. On October 9, 1951, she married Curtis Law in New London, WI. Delores was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. She was employed by several Fond du Lac businesses, including California Canners and Growers and Schreiners' Restaurant from where she retired. Delores was a former member of the Fond du Lac City Women's Bowling Association. She was an avid quilter, gardener, and baker. Surviving are her husband, Curtis, two sons; Gerald (Maureen McKnight) Law of Tokyo, Japan, and Ken Law of Fond du Lac, three daughters; Eileen (Paul) Rottscholl of Fond du Lac, Laura Law of Homestead, FL, and Debra (Delbert) Weigel of Omro, six grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. She is further survived by her mother, Evelyn Retzleff of Fond du Lac, three sisters; Shirley (John) Ferguson, Gail Rebedew, and Darlene Steffen, all of Fond du Lac, two brothers, Dean Retzleff of Madison, and Tom (Donna) Retzleff of New Holstein. A brother-in-law, Jack (Pat) Law of Fond du Lac also survives. Her father preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Delores C. Law will be on Friday, September 24, 2004, from 4 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 24, 2004, at 7 pm at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. The Rev. Gerald Bertsch will officiate and private family committal services will be held at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Mrs. Law's name has been established.
