Delores E. Pinkert

Delores E. Pinkert, 88, a lifelong resident of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had resided for two years. She was born March 16, 1928, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Albert and Cresentia Bingen Drews. On August 4, 1946, she married Paul F. Pinkert at St. Peters Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1971. Delores was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. She was formerly employed by the Fond du Lac School District working in the food service program at Rosenow School for over 20 years. Delores enjoyed golfing at Rolling Meadows and Farvu golf courses.

Surviving is her daughter, Vicki (Stan) Rennert of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Violet Zinniel.

Graveside services for Delores E. Pinkert will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017, at 1:30 PM at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jennifer Dawson officiating. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home 244 N. Macy Street, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
