Delores M. Tank

Delores M. Tank, 81, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, July 08, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by her family. She was born January 18, 1932, in North Fond du Lac, the daughter of Gerald and Minnie Goldapske Altman. On February 2, 1953, she married Leonard L. Tank in North Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1998.Delores was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. Although her mobility was limited, she always enjoyed riding on her scooter, crafting, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed going to Joilet, IL for the NHRA drag races. Surviving is a daughter, Tammy Luckow of Fond du Lac, two sons, Terry Tank of Plover, WI, and Tim Tank (Special Friend Vera Dobrinski) of Ripon, WI, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Barbara Will of North Fond du Lac, and Debby (Aaron) Schneider of Plainfield, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a granddaughter, two great-grandchildren, a son-in-law, Larry Luckow, and four brothers.



Visitation for Delores M. Tank will be on Thursday, July 11, 2013, from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 55 N. Prairie Road, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon at the church on Thursday, July 11th. The Rev. Joel Gaertner will officiate and burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
