Dennis R. Burg

Dennis R. Burg, 79, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born February 11, 1939 in Fond du Lac, son of Melvin and Cecelia (Schafer) Burg. On August 25, 1973, Dennis married Kathleen “Kathy” Abitz at the Church of Peace in Fond du Lac.



Dennis loved his family, and very much enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and playing Cribbage. He also enjoyed his many trips to Arizona. For 26 years, Dennis was an Assemblyman at Mercury Marine.



Survivors include his wife, Kathy; two sons, Larry Burg and Todd (Cindy) Burg; two daughters, Sandy Faber and Emmy (Thomas) Hultman; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; his step-mother, Coral Burg; and Coral’s children, Barb, Kathy, Mark, Diane and Doreen.



Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
