Dennis R. Lefeber

Dennis R. Lefeber, 76, of Malone, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at his residence. He was born on December 29, 1945, in Fond du Lac, the son of Edwin and Geneva (Snortum) Lefeber. On September 18, 1965, he married Shirley J. Roberts at St. Joseph’s Church, Fond du Lac by Monsignor Reardon. He worked for his father and later owned and operated Dennis R. Lefeber Well Drilling Pump Sales and Service. Later he owned Lefeber’s Antique Tractors. He was a lifelong member of R.S. Vintage Steel of Calumetville for 36 years. He also served on the Calumet Town Board as town supervisor, town board representative for the planning commission and currently held chairman for the board of appeals. Dennis also has been on the board for the sanitation district of Johnsburg since 1996. In his early years, Dennis loved to ride his motorcycles, snowmobiles, playing softball with the OK Bar for Oscar and Cathy Konen of Calumetville, and shooting pool for the East Shore Pool League for 10 years. He enjoyed taking his family camping and traveling. His greatest love was for his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, with all his heart, especially at Christmas and Easter. Dennis enjoyed his “Beer-Thirty” on Friday nights with his friends and family at his shop in Calumetville.



He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; four children, Russell (Mary) Lefeber and their children, Kyle (Tristan) Lefeber and their children, Taryn, Makaylee, and Brezlyn of Campbellsport, Zachary (Tara) Lefeber and their children Scarlett and Axel of Muskego, Cherie (Scott) Bunde and their children, Madeline and Hannah of Wautoma, Darrin (Kay) Lefeber and their children, Autumn (Kyle Celichowski) Lefeber and their daughter, Wrenlee of Oshkosh, Hailee and Meaghan Lefeber of Johnsburg, Pamela (Randy) Schmitz and their children, Devon and his children, Landon Red and Magnolia of New Holstein, Olivia (Austin Schrage) Schmitz of Johnsburg, Chloe Schmitz of Johnsburg; five siblings, Eugene (Audrey) Lefeber of Lincolnton, NC, Diane (James) Klotz of New Holstein, Cindy Knaus of Johnsburg, Lloyd Lefeber of Michigan, and Kevin Lefeber of Plymouth and Bobbi Lefeber of Rosendale; mother-in-law, Marie L. Roberts of Mount Calvary; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Robert C. Roberts; brother, Gary (Linda) Lefeber; brother-in-law, Robert Knaus; niece, Melissa Klotz; and nephew, Bradley Klotz.



The visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 4 -7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and then again on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 10 – 11 AM at St. John The Baptist Church, Johnsburg, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, following the visitation at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. John The Baptist Cemetery following the service.
