Derald R. Ohm, 77 of Fond du Lac, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at his residence. He was born on June 15, 1934 in Milwaukee the son of the late Theodore "Ted" and Erna Timm Ohm. He graduated from Waupun High School in 1952 and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Derald was employed at Rockwell International for 33 years as a computer programmer. He was a member of the Oshkosh Auxiliary Police for 30 years. He was a volunteer at the EAA for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling. He was a member of Grace Reformed Church, Fond du Lac and the American Legion Post No.210 in Waupun. He married Mary E. Warren on March 21, 1959 in Arlington, Virginia. He later married Donna Laatch on July 25, 1981 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.Survivors include his wife Donna Ohm, Fond du Lac, two sons Keith Ohm, Malden, MA, Kevin Ohm, Oshkosh, four grandchildren Alaina, Corinne, and Kathryn of Plymouth, MA, Brianna, Oshkosh, two step-sons Ronald (Robin) Laatch, Sun Prairie, David (Susan) Laatch, Apple Valley, MN one step-daughter Susan Braker, Beaver Dam, two step-grandsons Mitchell Braker, Christopher Laatch, five step-granddaughters, Amber Dols, Emma and Ellen Laatch, Stephanie and Jenna Braker, and two step-great-grandchildren Jayden and Payton. He is further survived by his brother Norbert (Barb) Ohm, Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Grace Reformed Church, 163 18th Street, Fond du Lac.
