Devota R. Koeck

Devota R. Koeck, 70, a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the home. She was born on January 19 1937 in Horicon, WI, the daughter of Erich and Rose Monogue Sager. Devota went to Horicon schools and graduated Salutatorian of her class in 1955.SURVIVORS: two sons, Shawn Koeck (special friend Shaune Marie) and Anthony Koeck, both of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren, Matthew Fisher (fiancé Maggie Wolf), Allenton and Alyssa Fisher, Fond du Lac; the light of her life her great-grandson, Malique Harris; two sisters, Gayle (Dennis) Hanna, Guttenberg, IA and Karla Mertig, Beaver Dam; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.



VISITATION: will be held from 4-7PM on Monday, February 12, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 7PM on Monday at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Horicon.In lieu of flowers memorials in Devota's name are appreciated.Devota was a kind and giving woman, with a great spirit and will be sadly missed by all.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
