Diana James, 77, of N5947 Deming Place, Town of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at St. Luke's Medical Center. She was born November 4, 1927, in Waukegan, IL, a daughter of Michael and Demetra Condel Menas. On June 28, 1953, she married Ernest P. "Ernie" James in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2004. Mrs. James was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. She was formerly employed by the telephone company in Sheboygan, and was later employed by Pier School. She was a member and past President of the Philoptochos Society, and the Eastern Star Chapter #70. Diana was a graduate of Central High School in Sheboygan.Surviving is a daughter, Demetra (Scott) Luttenberger of North Fond du Lac, two sons, Peter (Deborah) James of Chicago, and Michael (Irene) James of Mt. Prospect, IL, four grandchildren, Ernie, Jessica, Dugan, and Deanna, and a great-grandson, Michael. She is further survived by a brother Deno M. Menas of Fond du Lac, two sisters, Peggy (Peter) Ladas of Chicago, and Stella (Ernest) Tiboris of Sheboygan. A brother-in-law, Donald Wensauer of Sheboygan, a sister-in-law, Pat Menas of Fond Du Lac, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends also survive her. Her parents, husband, two sisters, Marion Frankos and Emily Wensauer, and two brothers, George Menas and Tony Menas preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Diana James will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Trisaigon services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at 7 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at 10:30 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and 11 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The Rev. Peter Pappademetriou will officiate and entombment will be in the All Faiths Chapel at Rienzi Cemetery.
