Diane J. Bloedorn

Diane J. Bloedorn, age 75, went to be with her heavenly father on August 10, 2022, at home after a long fight with COPD with her family by her side. She was born in Brownsville, WI, on March 9, 1947, the daughter of Otto and JoAnne (Schiefelbein) Czoschke. The family later moved to Fond du Lac, WI.



Diane was a 1965 graduate of Goodrich High School. She worked for the City of Fond du Lac for many years. Diane married Robert Jones and they had two children, Schawna Jones and Peter Jones. Diane later married Craig Bloedorn.



Diane was an avid gardener. The gardens of the homes she lived in were a testimony to that. She was a very active member of the Green Thumb Garden Club in Fond du Lac, contributing much towards the publishing of their annual booklet and she won many awards for that. She also was involved in their annual plant sale fundraiser and many other projects the club did each year. Diane loved playing cards every week with her card group. She was much loved by her friends in her garden club and card group, and she will be dearly missed.



Diane was loved by her family. She is survived by her brothers, David (Diane) Czoschke of Green Lake and Michael (Susan) Walters of West Bend and Washington Island, WI; her sisters, Dona (Robert) McEssey of North Fond du Lac, Kaye (Ron) Flegner of Waupaca, and Julie (Kevin) Raymond of Madison; her granddaughter, Miranda (Ryan) Lobajeski of Fond du Lac; her aunt, Marion Flood; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnne Ahrens; her father, Otto Czoschke; her brother, Chris Czoschke; her stepfather, Robert Ahrens; her uncle, Roland Schiefelbein.



She was unfortunately also preceded in death by a son, Peter Jones; a daughter, Schawna Jones; husband, Craig Bloedorn; and cherished friend and former husband, Robert Jones.



Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 12 noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 12 noon. Private family entombment will take place on Monday August 22, 2022, at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
