Diane M. Yakaites

Diane M. Yakaites, age 54, of 39 Reid Terrace, Fond du Lac, died Monday, August 14, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on August 15, 1951 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Anthony and Elaine (Miller) Yakaites. Diane worked for Serigraph in West Bend for the last ten years, and previously worked at various administrative assistant jobs. Diane had a great love for Scotland, and she also loved learning about other cultures. She was fluent in Spanish, enjoyed music, especially gospel music and blues, and she enjoyed taking walks, and animals. She was involved in Big Sisters. Diane was a very caring person and loved helping others.SURVIVORS: her brother, Dale (Gail Serres) Yakaites of Marshfield, nephew, Michael Yakaites of Atlanta, GA, niece, Leigh Anne Yakaites of Marshfield, good friends, Jan Logan of West Bend, Marliss Sobczak of Fond du Lac, other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Bernice (Reckner) Yakaites, her stepbrother, Robert Reckner, her aunt Helen Miller, and several other aunts and uncles.



VISITATION: Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Church of the Presentation B.V.M., 705 Michigan Ave, North Fond du Lac, with the Reverend John Simon officiating. Cremation has taken place with inurnment to follow the service at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Uecker-Witt is in charge of arrangements.
