Dianne D. Fife, 69, of Fond du Lac, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 2, 2008 at her home. She was born September 20, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Gaylord and Mary Beth Higgins Disher. On February 20, 1960 she married the love of her life, William J. Fife, Jr. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN. Dianne adored her daughter and grandchildren and absolutely loved her great granddaughter, Sydney. Dianne was a very special wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a great love for animals and loved to care for and spoil all of her dogs.SURVIVORS: her daughter, Jacqueline Fife and her spouse, Darrell Anderson; three grandchildren, Daniel William and his spouse, Mallory Fife, Amanda Beth and her spouse, Gordon Rose, Maxwell Russell Fife; her great granddaughter, Sydney Ruth Rose, all of Fond du Lac. Dianne is further survived by her brother, Richard R. Disher and his wife, Mary; her brother-in-law, Jack Fife; nieces and nephews, Michele, Monica, John, Veronica and William Fife, all of Indianapolis, IN; many cousins and her best friend for 48 years, Gail Anderson, the sister she never had, along with many other special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Ruth Ann in 1970, her granddaughter, Ruth Ann in 2005, her great grandbaby in 2007, and her in-laws, William J. and Ruth F. Zinkan Fife, Jr.
VISITATION: will be from 3 "“7 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Oliver officiating. On Sunday, August 10, 2008 there will be visitation from 3 to 7 P.M. at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Home-Indianapolis, Indiana, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Avenue. Burial will be held on Monday in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
