Dolores A. Tindall

Dolores A. Tindall, age 89, of Fond du Lac, was born into heaven on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 6:55 P.M. She was born on March 22, 1925 in the town of Osceola, the daughter of Oscar and Lillian (Galabinski) Kutz. Before her marriage, she was employed with the Berre’s Furniture Store in West Bend for five years. On September 15, 1945 she married Roy A. Tindall at St. John’s Church in West Bend. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2013.



After her marriage, she and her husband while in the Navy went to Washington D.C. to live. She then worked at Woodward and Lothrop Department Store. After raising her children she worked at J.C. Penney in Fond du Lac for thirteen years and retired in 1985. She joined the J.C. Penney luncheon club and the Ladies Society at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac where she was also a member.



Dolores’ hobbies were Bob Ross painting which she learned in her seventies, gardening, crocheting, and playing cards with her grandchildren. Her vacation spot was at Lake Michigan where they built a log cabin in 1960.



SURVIVORS: one daughter, Carol (Jack) Braun of Gilbert, AZ; two sons, Ronald (Kathleen) Tindall of San Diego, CA, Terry (Caroline) Tindall of Waukesha, WI; eight grandchildren, Shontel Edwards, Melissa Johnson, Dawn Walcher, Rhonda La Chapelle, Gina Reese, Jessica Tindall, Troy Tindall, Katlynn Tindall, eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, one daughter Diane, daughter in law, two brothers, and two sisters.



VISITATION: Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 8:30-10:30 A.M. at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church, 606 Forest Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend James Borgwardt officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery and everyone is welcome to return to the church for a luncheon with the family.
