Dolores C. Kempf

Dolores C. Kempf, age 89, of 318 Linden St, Fond du Lac, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at her residence. She was born on August 26, 1919 in Mt. Calvary the daughter of John and Josephine (Dreifuerst) Mannenbach. On May 4, 1946 she married Herman J. Kempf in Mt. Calvary. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1990. Dolores worked as a cafeteria supervisor at St. Agnes Hospital for fifteen years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac since 1937 and was also part of the altar society. She was also a member of Holy Family Parish. Dolores enjoyed cooking, baking, flower gardening, and canning. She liked sharing recipes with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. SURVIVORS: three children, James (Mary) Kempf of Manitowoc, John (Vicki) Kempf of Fond du Lac, Mary (David) Porter of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren, Michael, Brian (Emily), and Jennifer Kempf, Julie (Nate) Belden, Joe Kempf, Anthony, Alexander, and Caroline Porter, one great-granddaughter, Lauren Kempf, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman J. Kempf, three sisters, and two brothers.



VISITATION: Monday, September 29, 2008 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.
