Dolores E. "Dee" Sippel

Dolores E. “Dee” Sippel, age 78, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Princeton, WI, on March 9, 1939, the daughter of Norbert and Elnora (Steinke) Laboyeske. Dee graduated from Princeton High School in 1957. On May 27, 1961 she married Ernie Sippel at St. John the Baptist Church in Princeton, WI.



Dee worked as a receptionist for sixteen years at St. Agnes Convent. She retired in 2010 and enjoyed her Ministry of Hospitality. Dee was a member of Holy Family Parish, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and the Fond du Lac Senior Center.



Survivors include her husband Ernie of Fond du Lac; three children, Cindy (John) Hoffmann of Fond du Lac, Alan (Linda) Sippel of Hampton, VA, and Shari (Tom) Quigley of Oshkosh, WI; three grandsons, Kurtis Hoffmann, Jack Quigley, and Ryan Quigley; one sister, Joan (Donald) Otto; brothers-in-law, Lloyd (Joan) Sippel, Stan (Maureen) Sippel; sisters-in-law, Marcie Sippel, Sylvia Sippel, Marge (Dick) Baccus, Dolores (Pete) Braun, Donna (Mark) Meents, and Eileen Calvey; and other relatives and friends. Dee was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Jonathon Hoffmann.



Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 9-11 AM at Holy Family Church-Holy Family Parish, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at the church at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow the service and interment will take place at a later date at Princeton Cemetery.
