Dolores K. Mueller

Delores K. Mueller, 82, of Fond du Lac passed away Wednesday May 14, 2014 at All About Life Nursing Home in Fond du Lac. She was born December 25, 1931 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Carl and Kathryn (Smet) Goron. She married Forrest Mueller at St. Louis Church in Fond du Lac on October 1, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1990. She worked at First Wisconsin-U.S. Bank for 55 years and was a 1950 graduate of St. Mary’s Springs.



She loved to bowl, do ceramics play cards and did a lot of traveling. She was very active in her church, especially the summer festival in August, which she organized at the Rec. Building at the Fairgrounds.



She is survived by sisters Carlene Michalowske and Rose (Leo) Steinke, brother, Carl (Sandra) Goron, brother-in-law Melvin (Betty) Mueller, and a sister-in-law, Delores Pitas. Many nieces and nephews and all her sisters and brothers children called her mom-she was like a second mother to all of them. She had a special nephew, Mat Mueller, who she always said was more like a son to her then a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, four brothers-in-law; Earl Mueller, LaVern Mueller, Art Pitas and John Michalowske and two sisters-in-law; Gloria Mueller and Pat Mueller.
