Dolores R. Dehnel

Dolores R. Dehnel, 82, of 1409 Minnesota Avenue, North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born October 3, 1928, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Garret H. and Ruby V. Evenson Van Deslunt. A lifelong resident of Fond du Lac, Dolores was formerly employed by Tolibia Cheese for over 20 years, retiring in 1990. She bowled in several leagues in the Fond du Lac area. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great- great granddaughter. Surviving are four daughters, Judy (Steven) Willis of North Fond du Lac, Vickie Brown, Diane (John) Steiner, and Sue (Randy) Spang, all of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. She is further survived by a brother, Eugene (Gloria) Van Deslunt of Fond du Lac and special friends, Marilyn Spang and Dwight Anderson, both of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Cindy Sue, and a son-in-law, Ed Brown.



Visitation for Dolores R. Dehnel will be on Sunday, May 22, 2011, from 3 to 7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 7 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Pavesic will officiate. Private committal services will be on Monday in Rienzi Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Dolores' name.
