DOLORES T. SCHARFDolores T. Scharf, age 79, formerly of 138 8th St, Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 25, 1926 in Chilton the daughter of Frank and Ernestine Rott Nellessen. On May 26, 1948 she married Jerome H. Scharf in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1962. Dolores worked at Co-Ord LTD as a bookkeeper. She was a director at Camp Canahiti and a Girl Scout leader. Dolores was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Third Order of St. Francis, St. Joseph's Catholic Women, and a member of Holy Family Parish. She was a coordinator of the White Elephant sale for St. Joseph's Church for many years. Dolores enjoyed bowling, gardening, walking, and she loved her cats.SURVIVORS: seven children, Nancy (Mike) Kneeland of Fond du Lac, Carol Scharf of San Diego, CA, Jim (Judi) Scharf of North Fond du Lac, Gerald (Nancy) Scharf of Fond du Lac, Joyce Morgan of Fond du Lac, Ted Scharf of Cathedral City, CA, Michael (Marci) Scharf of Fond du Lac, eleven grandchildren, Dan Scharf, John Scharf, Kathy Garcia, Sarah Scharf, Tim Morgan, Katie Morgan, Jennifer Kneeland, Shawn Kneeland, Adam, Kylene, and Erica Scharf, three great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Hailey, and Caleb, two sisters, Stella (Bill) Bauer, Thelma (Roger) Stoffel, sister in law, Pat Nellessen, and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, Vince and Roger Nellessen, one sister in law, Arlene Nellessen, one son in law, Greg Adinolfi.
VISITATION: Friday, February 24, 2006 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church with the Very Rev. Patrick Heppe officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home Pathways Unit for their compassionate care for Dolores while she was a resident there.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
