Donald D. Rumbuc

Donald D. Rumbuc, age 76, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at his residence. He was born on December 29, 1945, in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Ethel (Pixley) Rumbuc. Don served in the United States Army. He worked at Tecumseh and then worked for Dan Frank at Blacksmoke Automotive. Don enjoyed playing bingo, driving around, going out to eat, especially hanging out at Stretch Restaurant. Don loved spending time with his grandchildren. Don was easy going and very down to earth.

Survivors include four children, Shari Rumbuc, John Rumbuc, Michael Rumbuc, and David Rumbuc; five grandchildren, Liz, Josh (Bethany), Colten, Kai Charles, and Evan; his former wife, Karen Skarda; his siblings, Mary (Jim) Angle, Gail (Jerry) Moon, Sharon Peebles, Danny (Nancy) Rumbuc, Tom Rumbuc, Jim Rumbuc, Preston (Sharon) Rumbuc, Steve (Judy) Rumbuc, Paul (Janell) Rumbuc, Gary Rumbuc; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Patricia Rumbuc; brother, Johnny; nephew, James Rumbuc; brother-in-law, David Peebles.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow the visitation at Calvary Cemetery.
