Donald H. Grunwald

Donald H. Grunwald, 69, of 395 N. Military Road, Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born the son of Arthur O. and Verna M. Farrey Grunwald on July 9, 1939 in Fond du Lac. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Donald worked for Vulcan Manufacturing for 20 years and then several years at Exeter Machine, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Fond du Lac Eagle Aerie #270. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, woodworking, and refurbishing furniture.SURVIVORS: his wife, Beverly; one daughter, Dina (James) Schmidt, Cascade; one son, 1SG Keven (Patti) Grunwald, stationed in Irac; six step-children, Karen (Wayne) Buechel, St. Cloud, Sherry (Mark) Kraemer, Johnsburg, Sandy (Robert) Helmer, Fond du Lac, Kris (Al) Repp, Fond du Lac, Chuck (fiancée, Margie) Bartus, North Fond du Lac, Lori (Gary) Will, Ripon; four grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Judith (Richard) Schmitz, Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Howard.



VISITATION: will be from 6 "“ 8 PM on Monday, August 25, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
