Donald J. Richardson

Donald J. Richardson, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at his residence in Neshkoro. He was born March 31, 1947, in Fond du Lac, the son of Jim J. and Stella E. Krenn Richardson. He was a 1965 graduate of Oakfield High School. Don was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany from 1967-1969. He was formerly employed by the Soo Line Railroad for 19 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and working on garden tractors. Don was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Neshkoro. Surviving is a son, Jeffrey (Sonja) Richardson of Oshkosh, four granddaughters, Dakota, Natasha, Amanda, and Hannah, a brother Bill (Sandra) Richardson of North Fond du Lac, a sister, Sally Anderson of Lamartine, a sister-in-law, Carol Richardson of Lamartine, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, Ronald, and a sister, Joy Uhlig.



Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, December 10, 2012, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Avenue, North Fond du Lac. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM at the church on Monday. The Rev. Roger Reidel will officiate. Inurnment of cremated remains in Estabrooks Cemetery will be held at a later date.
