Donald L. Sippel

Donald M. Sippel, 54, of 566 E. 2nd Street, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at University Hospitals in Madison. He was born October 8, 1955, in Fond du Lac, the son of Hubert and Eleanor Thelen Sippel. On June 19, 1982, he married Diane L. Feller in Fond du Lac. Mr. Sippel was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was on the Board of Outreach, a past member of the Board of Properties, and an usher. He was a past President of the WLA Booster Club. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and all types of sports. Donald was currently employed by Albiero Plumbing of West Bend as a purchasing agent. Surviving is his wife, Diane, a son, Nathan (Betsy) Sippel of Madison, a daughter, Kelly (boyfriend, Adam) Sippel of Fond du Lac, a brother, Randall (Chris) Sippel of St. Paul, MN, four sisters, Carol Sippel of DePere, Pat (Craig) Dreger of Oshkosh, Laura Sippel of Fond du Lac, and Kris (Dean) Rodeheaver of Green Bay, and his father, Hubert Sippel of St. Cloud. He is further survived by his father and mother-in-law, Leslie and Arlene Feller of Mayville, a brother-in-law, Jim (Jill) Feller of Mayville, and a sister-in-law, Rachel (Gibby) Loberg of New Berlin. His mother preceded him in death.



Visitation for Donald M. Sippel will be on Sunday, May 23, 2010, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Monday, May 24th, from 9:30 to 11 am at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 11 am at the church on Monday. The Rev. Michael Zuberbier will officiate and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to either Winnebago Lutheran Academy or St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
