Donald P. Flynn

Donald P. Flynn, 66, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1948 in Laona, WI, the son of Lloyd and Marie Thill Flynn. On September 22, 1967 he married Faye Hilscher in Fond du Lac and she preceded him in death on August 22, 1984. On December 6, 1985 he married Kathleen L. Farley in Fond du Lac. Donald drove the Bookmobile for Fond du Lac Public Library for many years, retiring in 2012. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going up north, gambling, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.



He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; three sons, Daniel (Brenda) Flynn, David Flynn, and Gary Flynn; one daughter, Donna Flynn; two step sons, Joshua Marcoe and Jeremy Marcoe; one step daughter, Kelly Schmal; seven grandchildren, Amber, Matthew, Ethan, Breanna, Domanic, Kenzington, and Karson; one great grandchild, Blaze. He is further survived by two brothers, Bill (Kathy) Flynn and Dennis (Cindy) Flynn; three sisters, Charlene Culver, Elaine Nelson, and Orla Sagle; one sister-in-law, Chong Flynn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Faye Flynn; one brother, Ronald Flynn; one sister, Linda Flynn; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Culver and Sid Nelson.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Burial will follow the visitation in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon, WI.
