Donald R. Sitzwohl

Donald R. Sitzwohl, age 88, of 3605 S. 60th St, Milwaukee, died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Sunrise Care Center, Milwaukee. He was born on August 28, 1919 in Ripon the son of Charles and Lillian (Schave) Sitzwohl. On September 12, 1942 he married Eugenia Hefter at the Parsonage at St. Andrew's Church in Leroy. She preceded him in death on August 16, 1998. They lived most of their lives in Campbellsport. Donald worked for Stella Cheese-Universal Foods until retiring in 1984. They enjoyed their summer home in Door County. Donald enjoyed fishing, yard work, gardening, and playing cards with his family. Most of all he enjoyed visiting with his nieces and nephews.SURVIVORS: one sister, Marlene (Gerald) Schmitt of Mt. Calvary, sisters in law, Laverne (Joseph) Valen of Milwaukee, Mabel Zasada of Fond du Lac, Colleen Hefter of Greenfield, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eugenia, three sisters, Laverne Gunderson, Betty Zanders-Gardner, and Genevieve Monson, one brother, Charles Sitzwohl.



VISITATION: Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Friday, February 22, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 699 Milwaukee St, Lomira with the Reverend Dennis Budka officiating. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
