Donald T. "Chic" Shepro

Donald T. “Chic” Shepro, 86, of St. Peter, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh. He was born on June 20, 1934 in Fond du Lac, the son of Donald and Sarah (Flitcroft) Shepro. Donald served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers as a Sergeant in Korea. On June 18, 1960, he married Donna Mand at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Peter. Donald worked at Quickfrez, Giddling & Lewis, and lastly, Mercury Marine for 18years. He was a lifetime member of East Shore, Forest, Dotyville, Fox Valley and Westscott Conservation Gun Clubs. He was also a member of the St. Peter Lions Club and the Mt. Calvary American Legion. Donald loved to fish, hunt, and shoot trap.



He is survived by his wife, Donna; three children, Darlene (Randy) Madison, Daniel (special friend, Charleen Roen), and Denise (Curt) Decker; four grandchildren, Vanessa (Matt) Talus, Joshua (special friend, Amber) Madison, Blake Decker and Amanda Decker; three great grandchildren, Joshua, Brynlee, and Harper Talus; brother, David (Florence) Shepro; sister-in-law, LuAnn Shepro; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; brother Dwayne Shepro; sister, Dolores (Marvin) Holtz; and sister-in-law; Carla Shepro.



A private family memorial service will take place at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A celebration of life will take place at later date. Cremation has taken place.
